On behalf of the “Sociedad de Dermatología Cosmética y Láser (SMDCL)” I want to thank all professors, guests, sponsors and members of the medical community who made of our 2010 annual gathering a success.  During the last five years, the “Congreso Internacional de Dermatología Cosmética, Láser y Pelo” has become one of the most important professional gatherings among medical professionals in the area of cosmetic dermatology in the Americas.  Year after year, our team, together with our professors and sponsors, works eagerly to develop a strong and diverse agenda with the most current and relevant topics in our discipline.  Our educational opportunities, exhibits and social events are now known internationally for their quality and consistency.  Furthermore, the setting of this gathering gives us all who attend, the opportunity to foster new friendships and professional relationships, as well as to rekindle old ones.

In 2011, SMDCL is proud to host, once again, its international meeting in Mexico City.  Knowing that your expectations are high, we continue to work steadfastly to make of this year’s gathering better than its previous versions.  As always, we will be honored with the participation of some of the most renowned dermatologists from around the world.  Our agenda for the year 2010 includes issues such as stress effects in human health, biostimulant fillers, phototherapy, Russian threads for face and body, periocular rejuvenation and many more specially selected topics. 

The “Congreso Internacional de Dermatología Cosmética, Láser y Pelo” gives us the opportunity to showcase and celebrate the talent and hard work that our medical community offers to the world.  We look forward to having the privilege to welcome you and to share this experience with you.
